I bought a 1988 speckled Data for $35 about 20 years ago. It is now worth about $15 to $20.
There was a malfunction in the spraying of some of the Data face's that made them more desirable as collectables. The unspeckled ones go for $3. The problem is, you need to find someone who wants one. I did not buy any of those furry collectables (can't remember the name even...oh yes beanie babies) so I am stupid but not that stupid. Besides I like Data. Anyone want a $50 Speckled Data. I will write a nice blog about you. Lynda?
OOPS! Made a really bad decision didn't I? Lesson learned: Don't invest like I invest.

We have come a long ways since Star Trek. Imagine we are not the center of the universe as we thought. There are millions of solar systems and billions of planets and more are being created everyday. The universe is a very violent place and we can be wiped out at any minute by an asteroid, a comet, solar flare, super nova, black hole, roving planet, any changes in our sun, movement of the moon, movement of Jupiter, or movement of the earth from the goldilocks zone. What Star Trek has that we don't have is warp drive to move around the universe. Hold on to Data, it may be worth something before its over.
I think I can get either Natacha Seijas or Miguel De Grandy to buy your speckled android. Does your offer of a nice blog entry still stand?
My niece has 2 princess Di Beanie babies. I guess this blog wasn't for nothing.
