Lynda Bell's Daughter Jenna's troubles continue. By Geniusofdespair

Sweetwater and Lynda Bell's Daughter Jenna Police Sergeant status:
Instead of using a test written by an educational institution, the police department wrote its own test to promote the officers to the ranks of sergeant, according to John Rivera, president of the PBA, Miami-Dade County’s police union.

“The evidence we found is clear: The test was written by the Sweetwater police and sent to an educational institution instead of the other way around, as is established by the rules,” Rivera said. “The integrity of the test was compromised, no doubt about it.”

Rivera asked Fulgueira on Oct. 10 to reverse the promotions after learning of the irregularities in the process from another Sweetwater police officer.

After Rivera presented his grievance, two of the four officers, Víctor Carril and Carlos Manuel Sordo, voluntarily resigned from the rank of sergeant. The other two, Jaime Richter and Jenna Méndez, have kept the rank and salary of sergeants. The four officers were the only ones to pass the test offered between March and April.
You can blame it all on Homestead. Homestead police made an exception and put her in the academy against strong objections. Seems Lynda Bell was pissed not long ago that Jenna was pulled over in Homestead for driving around in a truck with Texas plates and has it in for some Homestead officers.

And what ever happened to Gunner the police dog that Jenna and Mayor Marono picked up together in Talahassee? He comes to town in Oct. 24 2011, going through training in November in Palm Beach and by Dec. 31 Gunner is missing out of Jenna's backyard (was recovered later).

Both Maroño and Mendez traveled to Tallahassee to pick up the dog. Why would the mayor go with her?

Gunner needed a better fence.

It is a serious thing to lose a police dog.

Pish posh. Lynda was just being a good mother, quietly helping her offspring get ahead in life through whatever connections she could plug in to that path. The only incentive Marono has to spill his guts on the Homestead Hillbillies is the hope of a sentence reduction. Give him a few weeks behind bars and that bravado will melt. This proves that corruption comes in many flavors and formats and is sometimes hard to put your finger on. Very likely what happened here is that Lynda,Jr. went too far too fast and pissed off the wrong people with her demeanor which is similar to that of her mother. With the sharks circling Sweetwater and the loss in Homestead, the people who were stepped on and stepped over by this piece of South Broward white trash and her offspring, took a chance and let this fiasco go public. And I thought Florida City and Homestead had the market cornered on cronyism and corruption. LOL

In the Herald article, it forget to mentioned the link between Jenna being the daughter of Miami Dade County Commissioner Lynda Bell, with a fence company doing business with the City of Sweetwater and Southland Towing. And, the lost police dog was just another hidden story in it's relationship to Lynda Bell. The Herald needs to stop protecting Bell and protect the public for a change. This stuff is so crazy who would have thought a gringo could be at the helm of the sinking of our Banana Republic, North Havana!

I need to correct part of my post. I only read the first page this article in the Herald local......Sorry! Great job Eye on Miami, Genius and the El Nuevo Herald continuing where Patricia Mazzei so bravely went!

Who really believes the fence company is run by those two? Lynda is behind the scenes. It will all come out with John DuBois and Palmetto Bay's fences.

Was Gunner meant to keep Jenna "off the street" and only on safe assignments. Or for Jenna to have a pet and have the taxpayer pay to support and feed?

Life's a B***h when even your own union is against you promotion

There is a rumor that Jenna received a police escort to the police academy compliments of the Homestead Police Department when Lynda Bell was Mayor. Also that Jenna failed the drug test and the polygraph test? She was tested until she passed?

EOM: Can you get travel records for the Mendez-Marono trip to pick up the dog in Tallahassee? Tally is not a one-day turn-around trip. Would love to see details of their travel expenses. Wink wink - Did they waste taxpayers funds by getting separate rooms?

Marono and Mendez trip.
The entire story has a lot of loose threads, the Herald needs to tie it all together. PBA, fences, dogs, Commissioner Bell, promotions, Sweetwater, Homestead, Mendez, Police Academy, cronyism and nepotism.

I thought the guy in the picture was Marono...her man could be his twin. Does it count when you cheat with someone who looks just like your better half?

Anonymous said...

Marono was not cheating...he only married his girlfriend recently. Who marries a guy on his way to jail? For conjugal visitation rights?

You mean, Moron-o. Bell's goose is so cooked.

Surely you can find the thread of Guttierez in here, somewhere.

Sweetwater writes the sergeant's test (maybe so the right people can review it in advance) and it is administered by who? Maybe the criminal justice program at FIU across the street? No way. They found a part time instructor (maybe a cop from a friendly police dept?) working at for profit Kaplain University. They needed someone who would not play by the rules, and you won't find that so easily on the faculty of the State University System.

You can take the family out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of this family.

On their website FAQ... What they are most proud about... Is the contract they just got with Sweetwater for the
Next 2 years for big projects.... Wonder if any other company got a chance.

Isn't Kaplan located in sweetwater?

She is not half-bad looking if you ask me. Do you have any more pics of her?

Anonymous said...

Is Studly Steve a pseudonym for Steve Shiver? Inquiring minds want to know!

Steve Shiver is in the hospital and I don't think he would be interested in a bell offspring. Leave the guy alone Losner.

Why do elected officials bring their children into questionable situations? If they love them, why would they do this to them? Let them fly on their own, and create their own lives. Given the toxic political environment in the county, that is the best thing they can do to help their children.
