I watched some of this starting at around 2 hrs and 50 minutes in.....Wow.....John DuBois really is causing tons of trouble on that council as predicted. PIP Lawyer (if I remember what he does) David Singer was defending DuBois. One elderly lady was frustrated about lawsuits flying, not sure if it was the Palmer Trinity stuff or the DuBois stuff. He would have been better served staying a private citizens and privately suing but once he became an elected official, he seems to have set himself up for his well deserved ridicule. I only hope the people he's suing can claim their legal fees from him. Patrick Fiorre (sp) has to go next election cycle. Disgusting display is mild. This makes Homestead look civil! Oh wait, John DuBois is supporting Mark Bell. I need to let my friends down there now a whole new sleaze factor other then Steve Shiver is in play here supporting Lynda (Mark) Bell for Homestead Mayor. Heck, I think I'm writing a contribution to Steve Batemen now!

The mayor of Palmetto Bay owns a blog that she used to take shots at her political enemies. Stanczyk and Lindsay are two morons from the get go and have led Palmetto Bay into all of the lawsuits.
Dubois, Fiore and sometimes Schaffer are doing a good job.
You can support Bateman but he will be in jail very soon for multiple charges of criminal activity. The Herald blistered him last week in an editorial.

Disagree strongly.

2nd anon is either John Dubois or Lynda Bell or one of their employees! At this point, they're interchangeable moron's (in my opinion)!

The Herald is being pulled by Lynda Bell and her campaign people. Don't think for a second it's gone un noticed. They tried that with Joe Garcia too, he came out just fine. And, whatever happened with David Rivera? 52 counts he skated on. Bateman made a response the Herald wouldn't print but the local paper did. Mark Bell & the DuBois mortgage, CRA funding should be looked at by KFR, I don't care what the Ethics department says because they're funded by the BCC. So, the same commission approving the CRA is the same one funding the investigation of a sitting commissioner. Nope, nothing will happen and that is criminal in and of itself!

Jack Pasterella is a hoot.

The Herald would not print Bateman's response?
You must be a real Bateman insider to know that. The people of Homestead don't think Steve Bateman like Rachel Jeantel can even write. Frank May does all of his writing.

He went off like a deranged lunatic on Jim Defede and would not return inquiries from the Herald.

Defede is the wrong one to go off on. . .

It is Gary not Jack.

It was very interesting when John Dubois defended his actions of proposing the opening the Executive session transcripts on the School, Palmer Trinity. He said the Palmer Trinity attorneys only gave him a few checks for $50 and a larger check of a few hundred. That made it sound like it didn't take a lot of money to buy his vote or be a sell out.

Hey I thought most people would want to keep conversations with their attorneys confidential. When you want to sell someone down the river call John Dubois.

I removed a blog for including another blog. No free advertising.

That's really not why you removed it. It no longer exists and that was a link to your GAL Shelley.

This David Singer is the CFO of Berkowitz Construction in Coral Gables not the PIP attorney. He sends all his blogs that are really emails from the Berkowitz email address. He's a lot of fun to watch from what I see. Of course I don't believe what he says but it does create the dysfunction you headlined.

That is really why I removed it. I remove most links in comments. If it doesn't exist then why did you post it ?

Berkowitz Construction came up on either Mark Bell or Lynda Bell's campaign report. Interesting. Another DuBois connection to the ding bat Bell's! Are they related to Jeff Berkowitz - the FPL pave over the wetlands attorney and the infamous "parkland" off of Krome Ave. attorney? Interesting.

I watched the comments and agree with Gary Pastorella. Perhaps John Dubois isn't fit to be in public office considering his frivolous lawsuits against residents and more. We need leaders in Palmetto Bay to move the village forward not petty troublemakers having sick fun at the residents expense. I agree with the first anon, Patrick Fiore needs to go next election cycle and is part of the problem.

Gary Pastorella is not fit to speak in public and the mayor needs to learn how to run a meeting. The mayor is run by the wannabe bullies sho sit in the back and try to intimate both the mayor and any speakers who have differing points of view. Spouses of the mayor and council member have both thretened members of the public as well as actually flip the bird to the entire council when votes don't go their way. It is a shame how far this town has deteriorated.

The anon above has got that reversed. The bullies are John Dubois supporters constantly trashing the mayor who proves herself to be well above the pathetic excuses of small men. Gary Pastorella made some truthful statements regarding the vice mayor, just because you don't like to hear the truth doesn't make Gary not fit as a public speaker. Thank you Gary for speaking the truth.

How long are we going to have to suffer this silly soap opera? I did not vote for Mr. Dubois, but I will tell you that I am very appalled at the childish tactics employed by Mrs. Stanczyk and members of the public, and Mr. Pastorella is a prime example. Bad behavior. Boorish. It has no place in a public meeting and I can’t stand how the mayor continually has the decorum ordinance read aloud, but failed to enforce it, except at anyone who wants to speak positively about Palmer or any of the 3 male council members. I have a news flash for the mayor and her so-called supporters: There is more than one opinion. Make room for others. Tolerate discussion. There should only be intolerance for those who do not tolerate the right to free speech. I suggest that the Voce Mayor and the two other council members should get up and leave the meeting next time that spouse of the remaining council member flips off the proceeding. That would end the meeting due to a sudden lack of quorum. While I applaud their patience, it is there duty to take a stand and make statement that there is no place for ill-mannered personal attacks at any public meeting.

Absolutely agree that there is no place for personal attacks or bad behavior at any public meeting. No doubt, the vice mayor is fueling the fire playing the victim suing many residents over nothing when he should be working to bring opposing sides to the table. The vice mayor's very actions speak volumes of his lack of integrity, leadership and responsibility. Gary Pastorella's announcement at the meeting, however getting off topic, shed light on the person behind the trouble. Place the blame where it belongs.
