Council:
Carol Keys - 61%
Philippe Bien-Aime - 67%

I don't think Tondreau was ever a registered lobbyist. But still the same, North Miami will smell like coconuts for a long time to come.

Congratulations Carol Keys, finally a representative who represents District 2, Blynn needed to move on years ago. I contacted him on several occasions and he never bothered to call or wrote me back.
I hope the Herald photo of Lucie hugging Daphne Campbell isn't a sign of what is to come. Lucie Tondreau and Campbell were both endorsed by the gay hating group the Christian Family Coalition.
Congrats to Carol Keys! sorry to see Mr Despinosse lost.As for the new mayor, time will tell I guess. If how she ran her campaign is an indication , won't matter if her coco is douce or not..North Miami will suffer.
Carol Keys is the best new politician to be elected in years. She is in it for the right reasons. Keep an eye on her.
Anyone ever visited Haiti?
It's really a shame to know that a State Rep for District 108 "Daphne Campbell" acted like a real street thug during the No Mia Election and on Haitian radio, she needs to be recalled or a complaint should be filed against her for promoting racisym - divisive politics and for her irresponsible behavior! She needs to be held accountable for her actions.
Hopefully, this mess will generate a good and strong candidate to challenge her re-election next year!...

The former Mayor's protogee was hand picked to assure a continuation of his agenda - politics as usual "Haitian Style" the have and the have more!.. The politics of family and the corrupt circle of friends. Sad, a very sad state of affair...
