Susan Markley gets a well deserved award. By Geniusofdespair

Susan Markley, Ph.D.
In the Company of Women 2013

In the Company of Women, presented by Macy’s and Enterprise Holdings, is celebrating its Silver Jubilee on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rusty Pelican.

The annual event, hosted by Miami-Dade Parks, The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and the Miami-Dade Commission for Women, will continue its legacy by honoring 14 women who have exemplified Professional Development, Community Responsibility, Leadership and Vision, Contribution to Women's Progress, and Promotion of Pluralism.

Recognized for Science & Technology this year is Susan Markley, Ph.D., Chief, EECO Division of the Miami-Dade County Regulatory and Economic Resources Department.

If I ever needed accurate information from the county, Susan Markley always provided it, I didn't get the runaround.

On the hopes that she reads this post/comments, I'd like to publicly say congratulations to Susan. It was a pleasure to work with you over the past (almost) 10 years with SFWMD and DERM/PERA/RER. This is well deserved.
