Interesting Prediction for Lynda Bell for the New Year. By Geniusofdespair

The blog Homestead is Home has an interesting prediction for the New Year for County Commissioner Lynda Bell:
"The lure of higher office will be too much to resist for Lynda Bell who may seriously explore a run for Congress against Joe Garcia or will announce her candidacy to replace a retiring Ileana Ros-Lehtinen."
I always believed Bell was after higher office and by all her actions, she seems to be positioning herself for that goal. Too bad there is no 'resign to run' for Federal Office so we could get her off the County Commission.  Jebby (John Ellis junior) Bush is also hot for the Ros-Lehtinen seat.

I hope Homestead is Home resumes blogging. They are currently on hiatus.

Is she Hispanic? Does she speak Espanol? If not, she has zero chance in either district.

Mama June Bell's reign of incompetence in comin' to an end, despite HiH's grand vision.

Higher office? Notta chance.

More like front desk clerk at the Redland Hotel.

When's Bell gonna bounce Faddis for her little issue with truthfulness?

About one month ago an article was in the South Florida Times an article regarding former Homestead Councilman Melvin McCormick running for a seat in Homestead again. His wife Patricia Faircloth McCormick is presently, sitting on the council.

Well now their is a persistent rumor that the ambitious Patricia McCormick will run for Mrs. Bell seat in District 8. She will run even if Mrs. Bell runs for the same seat. Mrs. McCormick has an excellent chance of winning. She is a hard worker, smart, and knows how to campaign to win. An example if she had applied as vice mayor of Homestead she would have beat Jon Burgess.

Excellent chance of winning? Isn't she African American. I believe district eight is primarily Hispanic and White. Maybe Moss's district.

I still think Lynda Bell would be a hottie if she lost 50 or 60 pounds.

Patricia McCormick? From homestead? Please. She's not to bright and in fact doesn't seem to know to much about what's going on in her own town of Homestead.

Patricia and the crooked four on the council have ignored the police department manpower needs and now want to spend four hundred thousand on each of them having their own secretary.
It's Marie Antoinette 220 years later.
The peasants can fend for themselves against the ruffians of Homestead, we shall have our secretaries and assistants, eat lead or cake suckers.

Patricia McCormick and Bateman should be recalled. Homestead needs change now!!!! No more ruffians in homestead.

Ok, back to Mama June Bell, y'all.
Focus.
She simply ain't got the requisite smarts to hold a "higher office".
She does have a little political savvy, but that will disappear once Faddis splits.

Never forget: DO NOT ever underestimate Lynda Bell. Yes, she is a nasty, unlikable phony BUT she won and has a following kept in line with our money campaigning for her everyday.

Bell rode into District 8 office on the Republican coattails of Rivera, Artiles, Rubio, and the tea party. She reinvented and separated herself from those that new her in Homestead and sought a new political market. And, Gene Flinn, Annette Katz, and Keith Donner ran a miserable, lazy, and lame campaign.

She won by only 300 votes. The political circumstances that put her in office then were unique and will NEVER occur again.

The 2009 Homestead election in which she was humiliated and tossed-out on her ear is far more indicative of how her re-election attempt will go in 2014.

People in the County are getting wise to her as they did in Homestead. Walk around Homestead and ask a few people about Bell. You'll be surprised at the negative responses.

Professional political consultants now offer basically the same product. The difference is in the candidate. If a reasonable candidate is thrown against Bell; she's history.

Finally, there is a large cadre of persons of some influence that despise her and will work night and day to see defeated. That will be a very real and prominent factor in her reelection prospects.

How quick people forget that in 2009 more than $250,000 was spent by Bell's opponent in Homestead for less than 2,000 votes in a city of 60,000.
Humiliated is more like humility when $125 per vote is spent.

How quickly we forget Honey Boo Boo Bell's epic bad temper.

How quickly we forget Her abrasive and condescending "my way or the highway" attitude.

How quickly we forget Her using the pulpit to shill votes.

How quickly we forget that She still employs morally bankrupt Faddis.

Etc., etc., etc.
