Florida State Rep. Erik Frensen's CCE (Committee of Continuous Existence) Floridians for a Strong 67 has a $2,500 donation from Rebuild Florida another for $55,000 from Creating Possibilities. Rebuild Florida is controlled by Carlos Trueba out of Doral. Carlos's PAC, Rebuild Florida got $35,000 from the Republican Leadership Committee. Also The People CCE gave $17,000. Principled Centered Leadearship gave $27,000. You have one Committee giving to another Committee, giving to another and so on and so on. If you try to track money it is a nightmare.
The $100,450 Erik Fresen collected in his CCE is all in addition to his campaign account. The bulk of Fresen's expenses went to an ECO (Electioneering Communications Organization) Floridians For Integrity in Government. Integrity got $337,100 with $100,000 coming from Florida Leadership Fund. $125,000 went out from Integrity to Florida First Initiative, Inc. You try and track money. They do this on purpose to try to hide funds from such entities as FPL, Gambling, Tobacco, Sugar and Stadium money. I call this transferring between PAC's HIDING FUNDING others like Eve Samples, writer for TC Palms, call it MONEY LAUNDERING:
"Following the money trail in Florida is like taking a trip through a Rube Goldberg machine."
Double Cross: Paul Tudor Jones gave Erik Fresen's CCE $2,500 10/26/2012 - before the election. Had he given that money to his opponent, Democrat and environmentalist Ross Hancock, Ross might have won. Hancock was desperate for money and he only lost by a few hundred votes. Paul Tudor Jones is all about saving the Everglades. He couldn't have chosen a worse candidate than Fresen. Paul Tudor Jones also gave $5,000 to Creating Possibilities which gave $55,000 to Fresen's CCE. Creating Possibilities gave $100,000 to the Florida Leadership Fund and $75,000 to the Republican Party of Florida. Untangle that people! Just a big circle and I can imagine where it leads. Just look at Fresen's introduced bills and voting record and you will know too. Wake up people! Stop electing these bad politicians. Fresen was a former lobbyist, that should have been a hint on what was to come.

We closely watched how Rep. Fresen spent these contributions last year, and much of it was converted to personal income and living expenses, such as large checks to his mother for "managing his office," lots of dinners at steak houses, "fundraising" trips to resorts, etc. So these donations could be considered tantamount to bribery.
Paul Tudor Jones has made $100 MILLION per year for the past 15-20 years. He lives on the water in Greenwich, Connecticut. Hopefully he is trying to influence Erik Fresen to do the right thing.
Jones has a large home on the water in Islamorada as well.
Fresen is the ultimate crook! BTW, can somebody tell me where to file a complaint about his campaign signs that still litter the streets, including that huge sign outside his brother-in-law's property on Bird and 67th?
Jones also was levied a huge fine for filling in wetlands at his home in Connecticut.
Didn't Rubio do the same thing with his GOP credit card? That is, until he became a Us Senator and presidential timber. Now the Koch Brothers pay for everything.
Paul Tudor Jones makes $300,000 to $500,000+ every day. 365 days a year. We hope he supports the environment.
If you like Erik Fresen you'll LOVE my opponent for Gables commission Vince Lago, who has raised a nasty $100K plus so far, which is unheard of in the history of the city beautiful.
Politics just seems like Whack-a-Mole sometimes.
The fine was for cutting mangroves in the Keys.
Ross above, you ain't kidding! Lagos is another future putz like Francis Suarez. His consultant is the same as Suarez's goole old Steve Marin... Usual suspects on his door list Ron Book, De grandy, David Custin, Goldmeier, Xavier Suarez, etc.... It!s a shame we no longer have independent thinkers in government. We are left with these puppets who, call themselves candidates. Good luck Ross.....
You never said what the fine for cutting mangroves in the Keys is. Palmetto Bay Vice Mayor John Dubois would be interested to know. He's counting on his fine for cutting mangroves and filling wetlands in Palmetto Bay over the past 10 years to be zero and the lawsuit against him dismissed courtesy of Commissioner Bell I am sure.
