Paddle Boarding on Alton Road, Miami Beach. By Geniusofdespair

Ovidio DeLeon of Sailboards Miami becomes the first person to paddle-board down Alton Road, Miami Beach, Florida. Risking life and limb against Miami's crazy drivers, Ovidio successfully navigated this treacherous stretch of water in South Beach. This amazing feat would be impossible if not for the effects of Global Warming and its influence on Sea Level Rise. Link to video. Thank you Ovidio Deleon for helping Dan shoot this footage yesterday.

Dan Kipnis, a boat captain, shot this video to shine a light on climate change he is seeing in his lifetime. This is a link to a presentation Dan did on Global Warming.

Creative use of a Solyndra solar panel, sweet!

My hat is off to Dan Kipnis and I thank him for trying to get the message out. It’s falling mostly on deaf ears around here but he will be proven right. But it will be too late. In fact, it probably already is.

Great job, it would be fun if it weren't so sad.

This flooding was during the storm surge from Hurricane Sandy and high tide. Miami Beach has experienced flooding along the shore since forever. It's a coastal island with a beach after all.

Point taken but climate change historically has been going on for eons. It just didn't start past century. It started when the world began and will continue till it ends.Maybe it would be more intelligent to cease building on the water's edge. That's a gamble mother nature will win every time. Stop wining and be smart.
