Observations on the November election ... by gimleteye

On PBS Nova I watched a documentary about a Stone Age man extracted from the melting ice of a glacier. Survival, more than five thousand years ago, took a considerable amount of organization and skill. I wonder if all the accomplishments that carried humankind to the 21st century have created safety from the elements, made us rich in possessions, technologies and information but left us unqualified in essential aspects to prioritize risks and danger.
