What is your election day wish?

Can I have two wishes? My wish is that Joe Martinez vanishes from politics and Kathy Fernandez Rundle finds another line of work.

Dennis Moss beats the egg lady.

Gimenez goes into a runoff with Denny wood. Let's talk issues for the next round.

Lopez cantera and Erik Fresen get booted out of politics for good. Enough with elected officials that think they are above the law and Florida constitution.

That Erik Fresen needs to finally create a resume.

That people actually go out and vote today and not let the bolsteras determine the election. Polls open until 7 pm

I wish that the pit bull ban will be upheld by a large margin and that those idiots advocating to own them will instead adopt a nice dog from the animal shelter that will not maul or kill others.

Vote and ask your friends, neighbors, and family members to vote for Carlos Lopez-Cantera. This is just a reminder to the city of Miami residents Mr. Cantera saved us tax dollars. Thank You Carlos for helping us in the city of Miami.

I'd like to see Fresen have a tough time in his primary despite having blown through more than $126,000.00 in this cycle (although, to be fair, most of it was for nice restaurants, etc. and more than $10,000.00 to his own mother for "canvassing" and "office work").

I wish to see that the Police Benevolent Association and its thug-like leader John Rivera be handed more losses to add to its long list of embarrassing defeats.

Lopez cantera was willing to put through a law that was unconstitutional so city of Miami wouldn't pay taxes on marlins parking garages that city was required to pay under law. That's money due all taxpayers.

That there is a higher than expected voter turnout, that all of the elections are determined by the early votes and election day votes and NOT by absentees, that Gimenez, and Rundle are re-elected, that Gibson,Luis Garcia,Austin and Moss win the County Commission seats, Alix Desulme wins the House seat, Frederica Wilson is re elected and that there had been a better democratic candidate for Congressional District 26, one that could actually take David Rivera to the cleaners.

Praying that Dennis Moss loses. Get rid of all the entrenched incumbents who voted for the Marlins stadium.

Predictions:

Run Off's for November are:

No Run Off:

Pepe Diaz, next.

This is not democracy when elections are held in the middle of the summer in order to supress voter turnout. What wll be the trunout?

Anonymous said...

Turnout is looking good. Well, at least absentee ballots are.

That all the candidates being supported by Norman Braman lose the election.
That Lopez-Cantera disappears from politics.
That Joe Martinez wins even though I do not like him a lot, but I like Gimenez even less.
That Natacha Seijas will run again in some capacity, although she is too happy to do that again.

Sarah Palin will not speak at the Republican convention in Tampa? WHY? She is the best spokesperson the GOP has.

Great suggestions. Especially the Natacha donation. Will be reporting tonight from Las Vegas. Fitting isn't it?

There is NO chance that there will be a runoff in the mayor's race. Martinez will be lucky if he beats Helen Williams.

I wish Bell was running to vote her out and fire her staff in county hall. They do nothing but model and play!!!!... all day long.

You can not tell me that Bell does not know about that. It is in the blogs and the Herald lately

No on the pitbull repeal. Let that redneck marlins pitcher live in broward with his dangerous animals. I hope heyman moves with him.

“If wishes were horses, all beggars would ride.”

Nonetheless, here goes:

MOSS …. WINS BIG (“Dennis Moss beats the egg lady.” Love it!!!!)

GIBSON…WINS BIG (Very smart woman with good character and integrity)

GIMINEZ…WINS BIG (The thought of Joe Martinez makes me feel sick all over…dumber than dumber.)

ZAPATA…WINS BIG (he is a real honorable legislator…will look after we the people rather than puffing out his chest like a Christmas turkey..very solid with good character and integrity))

FRESEN…LOSES BIG (“That Erik Fresen needs to finally create a resume.” (Love, love it!!!!)PLUS GROW A BEARD...maybe he would look a little more grown up.

BIG TURNOUT (YEAH, RIGHT!)

Alex Dominguez wins State Representative, Dist. 112.

Joe Martinez SPANKS Gimenez.

Fresen wins but OD's at his victory party and has to have his stomach pumped or something.

Anonymous said...

That Gimenez loses and his duplicity in hiring boleteros is proven.
