The Campaign Reports in the County Commission Races. By Geniusofdespair

The latest campaign reports are up for the County Commission races. Looks like all the challengers have stalled on fundraising. Not the incumbents.

District 1
Shirley Gibson has raised $6,004 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $26,964
Barbara Jordan has raised $16,439 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of 200,804

District 3
Alison Austin has raised $3,370 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $20,413
Keon Hardemon has raised $1,765 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $27,202
Audrey Edmonson has raised $17,045 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $205,775

District 5
Calixto Garcia has raised $4,400 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $19,713
Carlos Munoz Fontanills has raised $650 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $19,845
Luis Garcia has raised $5,850 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $78,090
Bruno Barreiro has raised $22,776 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $193,531

District 9
Alice Pena has raised $4,600 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $16,850
Dennis Moss has raised $12,165 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $137,396

District 11
Manny Machado has raised $6,650 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $60,445
Juan Zapata has raised $40,525 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $216,073

Mayors Race
Joe Martinez has raised $21,123 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $275,462
Carlos Gimenez has raised $24,545 between 7/7 and 7/20 for a total of $993,484

I found the Zapata campaign report interesting (He raised the most this cycle). He got a lot of money from Secure Wrap people (Looks like staff). Usual law firm suspects like Michael Larkin (spelled wrong on the report). That awful traffic woman Cathy Sweetapple was on it with Andrew Dolkart. These two are always on campaign reports. They do the traffic and economic study for most developments. They always make them work with their number crunching.

In the Property Appraiser race, Pedro Garcia has raised $80,770 to Carlos Lopez-Cantera's $176,600. School Board District 5, the two candidates are neck and neck with fundraising. Susie Castillo has raised $47,855 to Daniel Espino's $40,595.

Everyone has been wondering who got the plain Jane, 72 year old Pena looking like Suzanne Sommers on her Campaign literature. It appears to be Baron's Visual Images. They took the photos. Keon Hardemon spent almost all his money on consulting...to Barbara Hardemon.

Maybe Sacha Baron Cohen is getting into Political Image Making in Miami?
