Erik Fresen Should Pay Up or Resign...How Dare He Run Again? By Geniusofdespair

Don't you hate those thumbs up?
The Miami Herald reported that Erik Fresen has a $1,500 outstanding fine for campaign report irregularities from 2004. The statute of limitations has kicked in but we the voters can hold him accountable.  Linda Robison, a State Ethics Commissioner, said:

"Any elected official who owes a fine and doesn't pay ought to be embarrassed about it."

Are we going to let him off the hook? Make Erik Fresen pay up before you consider him. When he comes to your door (LOL) or you are at a debate in District 114, ask him why he didn't pay that $1,500 fine from 2004. Also ask him if he ever responded to the August 2011 Audit Letter he got from the Department of State. Ask him for a copy of his response to the State.

Here is a politician who seems to live off political donations, can't work in the real world, is unable to follow rules, and flaunts his commitments. Voters need to vote for candidates that will represent them, not politicians like Fresen who game the system.

Fresen's personal financial disclosure shows no money in the bank. So what do expect from him? He's not getting rich from corruption.

He is another Marco Rubio and David Rivera: A broke-ass conservative Republican who needs to be watched like a hawk.

"Fresen's financial disclosure shows no money in the bank. He's not getting rich ..." ???

Whaaa? That only makes sense if you believe the guy tells the truth in his financial disclosure forms.

If you believe this guy's telling the truth on his financial disclosure forms, I got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

Over the last 4 years, has not had a mortgage payment, real estate tax payment or insurance payment on his house over the same period of time. Common sense and a little math will tell you that he should have about 11K a month in cash to play with. There should be some money in some type of bank account somewhere. Where is he hiding the cash? Just another corrupt Republican like David Rivera? The Republican Party doesn’t have the spine to clean up their own house let alone lead the state out of the mess we are in. All the better for the Democrats and Ross Hancock come November.
