Rebeca Sosa sponsored and Audrey Edmonson co-sponsored a resolution supporting Miami Dade County Elections Department and Florida Assisted Living Association's Educational Outreah programs. It will be heard today (2D on the agenda) in Committee, starting at 2pm. I wrote about the programs on Monday.
Thank you for the sponsorship. And, thank you Rebeca Sosa for being the go-to-person on the County Commission to address Absentee Ballot fraudulent practices.

She name dropped EOM on the dais. Kudos! (despite Jordan's never having heard of it! Finger on the pulse, I tell ya)
How cheap. The resolution by Sosa does nothing. She is simply supporting a program that is currently in place...as opposed to not supporting it? If she was serious, she could have allocated funds from her district to support the program. Is she working with Elections to make sure every ALF in her district takes advantage of this outreach effort? I would not be so quick to heap praise on this dubious public proclamation of support. Where's the beef?
