I went to the "Make Art Not Casinos" event at Wynwood Walls. I spoke briefly to both Tony Goldman and Norman Braman, yes Norman Braman wore a T-Shirt at the event. The video above will give you a feeling for the event. Surprisingly the music was really good and the Wynwood Wall location was fantastic for a big crowd, there was room to stroll and look at the walls. Most of the people there were 20 to 40 years old for a change. Nice to see younger people caring. Here is what Make Art not Casinos said about the event:
Make Art Not Casinos – a grassroots Miami initiative started by local residents Brian Ehrlich, Rodrigo B. Gonzalez, Stuart Kennedy and Mayur Patel – teams up with Goldman Properties’ visionary CEO Tony Goldman and NOCASINOS.org to host an evening centered around celebrating Miami’s creative community.
