Get it Done PAC. By Geniusofdespair

The Get it Done PAC (a.k.a. County Commissioner Joe Martinez's PAC) made a donation of $500 to Katherine Rundle's campaign.  So Rundle is taking money from Genting?  Of the $57,750 raised there is $10,000 of Genting money in this PAC. According to the Miami Herald:

Martinez has ties to an existing committee, Get It Done, which in the last three months of last year raised $57,750. The committee is registered to Pedro Diaz, the son of Martinez’s former district coordinator.

Mayor Gimenez also accepted $10,000 from Genting though his ECO. I am much more concerned with the tens of thousands in contributions to the Mayor from the Rock Miners and Developers outside of the UDB that riddle his ECO's campaign reports.

This Get it Done PAC is an ECO and violated Florida Statutes by contributing to KFRundle, or any other candidate. Major snafu.

Mayor Gimenez did not receive any contributions to his campaign from the PAC helping him. The PAC's are suppose to operate separate from the campaigns. So when Gimenez gets a direct donation like Rundle -- I will have a bone to pick.

Common Sense Now! Is where all of Mayor Gimenez's campaign cash is located...it is how all the consultants get paid including Alex DLP (more that 500k)...it houses the only campaign office the Mayor has...it is the way the Mayor and the Developers and Lobbyists get around campaign finance rules by giving money in excess of $500...and the Mayor has solicited much of these funds himself including fundraising (events)and phone calls...how can anyone truly believe that Common Sense Now! is anything else but an arm of the Mayor's Campaign? Finally why would Common Sense Now! give the maximum contribution of $500 measly dollars to the re-election committee when it controls the one million five hundred thousand dollars in the ECO to spend anyway the Mayor wants (no way does someone in the ECO write a large check without permission from the Mayor..that is not the ECO's money...that is the Mayor's)...which is legal as long as they do not say "vote for"?...including campaign staff..robocalls...direct mail...television advertising...tee shirts...cell phones...food and beverages...and lots of money for campaign consultants?

So what is your fucking point? Do you have a better candidate? Trashing the best candidate doesn't make sense. Do you really want Joe Martinez?

Everyone is missing the point here.
An ECO cannot contribute to a candidate.
