Genting New York: The Neighborhood. By Geniusofdespair

I took this very short video Christmas Day of the neighborhood around the Genting Casino in New York. It was shot on the way to the main entrance. Unlike the Genting location in Miami (Miami Herald site) which is prime real estate, the New York casino is in a depressed neighborhood. There is a Home Depot right before the entrance sign, you can see at the end of the video on the left.

Hope this isn't considered an attack on the blogger, but in that 1st few seconds it looks like the light was red before you entered the intersection. :)

On a side note, has the Herald reported that the cruise ship which sank off the coast of Italy is owned by Carnival? Maybe I missed the Herald article, but Micky's net worth sure took a nose dive today.

Bad neighborhoods = don't give traffic tickets

I always sit in the back in a cab. Is that elitist? I was never sure, not being a big city person. Looking for some guidance here.

No. Sit in the back unless you have too many people and one has to sit in the front.
