There's a saying in Tallahassee: If you can't take their money, drink their booze, and sleep with their women...and vote against them...you are in the wrong business.
This is historical with all the de la Portillos. Classic case of "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." They follow in the footsteps of their father who taught them well. Innate to the core, the cannot help it.

Miami Dade politicians are cut from the same cloth. The minute they step into office and see what is available, they go crazy.
They sell their soul at the drop of a hat and then go to church on Sunday and wave the bible thinking they can fool God. What a set of hyhpocrites!

Seriously its hard to fathom how none of our "Law Makers" have come up with a Law that makes lobbying for dollars by elected officials Illegal. G.O.D. knows they create a lot of BS laws and laws that restrict other forms of conduct less egregious than lobbying while "representing"

I wouldn't be surprised if Miguel Diaz de la Portilla is also a lobbyist for Genting. There is something very disgusting about a state senator who makes his living by lobbying local governments for things that may not be in the public interest.

Miguel Diaz de la Portilla is all about the bottom line. He used to be about good policy when he served in the County Commission But that's a dog's age ago. He is like his brothers, greedy and self serving.
At least he's nice to look at...but then again so is Erik Fressen and he's a dog too.
