The County UDB Vote: The X Man Gets an F. By Geniusofdespair

A big thanks goes to all the the County Commissioners who voted NOT to transmit. They shouldn't have had to send this application to the Department of Community Affairs, they should all know on their own that it is wrong to move the UDB line for this Ferro application. Biggest disappointment was Xavier Suarez - he should know better. Hero: Commissioner Dennis Moss. And Javier Souto, what happened to you? Since when do you vote the right way. My world is now upside down. As for Lynda Bell, my expectations are so low, I expected this bad vote from her. She is turning out to be a Natacha Seijas clone.

Martinez never met a UDB application he didn't like, especially after the Latin Builders Association built him that house for free.

show me a commissioner who supported this application and i will show you a politician on the take. also, miguel diaz de la portilla disgusts me.

Lynda Bell is proving to be the anti-Katy. I heard her speak when she was running and say she wouldn't move the line. This the 2nd time she voted the wrong way on the line.

Barbara Jordan - exactly what do you or your district get in return when you whore your vote out in favor of moving the UDB?

I own property in Jordan's district and she doesn't do too much. In fact, I'm not sure what she does at all. She was screaming "yes" over Monestine's "no", it was unbelievable that she missed the roll call by a second or two and had to run back in to approve this crap.

Bovo wants a Hialeah free for all in Miami Dade County, let's take a look at Hialeah to see how well that worked (unless you're Robaina - the bad one) who doesn't pay taxes on improved property! He's worse than the VNS clone because he's just clueless about what his job is, which even Martinez had to remind him - planning is part of it!

Moss get's gold stars all the way and even Heyman was a bit remorseful about transmitting an outside the UDB application.

Bell was predictable, though dumber than dirt. She's no VNS close, VNS was no idiot. Bell just takes her GOP marching orders and belongs in the Bovo category.

I'm the one who called Souto not supporting this one! He's friendlier to the Ag community than most know.

Jordan is still counting on pushing out the UDB in her district a la Florida City Commons or some other project to benefit her siblings. One hand washes the other.

Scumbags. Get corporate $ outta politics!!!!

Didn't Jordan's lobbyist sister go to jail over some development deal? I think Jordan is a sleazy character.

I don't know if she went to jail or was just fined. Her name is Sandy Walker and she was a lobbyist.....Jordan's brother is Mayor for Life Otis Wallace of Florida City who never saw an application outside the UDB he wanted to annex and then pave over he didn't like and support!

Commissioners Bovo and Sosa should argue against moving the line and vote NO. They should justify their argument with demonstrating all the available space in their districts, especially Hialeah - we need the jobs here!

We need to preserve agricultural lands and bring these existing commercial and industrial areas back to life.

County Commissioner Steve Bovo will never argue for the little people. Too many big time lobbyists bank rolled his election to the County Commission. Count on him to do the right thing for THEM.

Nothing has changed with some of these commissioners: Bovo, Martinez, Diaz, Suarez, Barreiro and Bell. Citizens are willing to work Recall and Elections in 2012 free/no charge just to rid and cleanup our county. I cannot for the life of me wonder why the federal government justice department has not targeted the elected officials with questions on elections in Hialeah, hiring practices in the police and fire departments. Welcome to corrupt 101 and you can spread your knowledge around the country. Miami is ground zero for everything wrong.

Thank You Geniusofdespair for clarifying the deny/transmit on the commissioners vote.

Keep up the good work.
