More Than 500 people showed up for "Occupy Miami" October 15th. By Geniusofdespair

The Police estimated the crowd to be at 1,000. Who am I to argue....I didn't see any police there so you know how observant I am.

Nice pictures. I was glad to see them as they proved that it was not the vagabans (sic) parading. Good work, I am glad I do not have to pay your salary.

Where have these people been during public hearings at County Hall?

We could use those kind of numbers at the BCC to pressure for Charter Change and hold the UDB.

To me, politics are very local, not on Wall Street!

Glad they're out there, but wish they'd focus more on issues affecting all of us down here everyday!

It is interesting to read how far the lame stream press (Miami Herald) lags this story. If not for the social media picking up the protests, I bet there would be no coverage except what Fox News reports and everything would be tagging off of that.

Today in the Miami Herald the police estimated the crowds to be at 1,000. I did leave at 3pm and I was just estimating when I came out with my 500 number.

I don't know who she is but she knows her "i before e except after c" rule.

And that is the latest trend in nail color...

Instead of asking the crowds to go to county hall hearing where elected officials don't listen to anyone that's not a lobbyists anyway - make the Occupy rallys the place politicians have to go - and bring the UDB, Everglades, Biscayne Bay signs to the rally, too.
