New Miami Dade Ethics Commissioner Pick is Joe Centorino. By Geniusofdespair

Joe Centorino is slated to become the new Director of the do nothing ethics commission. He was in charge of public corruption in bungle-Rundel's office. Is he trading one job that can't get anyone indicted for another job that is actually guaranteed to never get anyone indicted? Looks that way, a good way to feel impotent don't you think?

I actually like Joe and I think he does a good job. It is just next to impossible to nail these sleazy politicians.

Every ethically challenged officeholder, government employee, and lobbyist will sleep well tonight knowing Joe is on the case.

We continue to sink deeper, and deeper. It is doubtful that, at the point where we are, we will be able to get out of the bottom. There's no doubt that the forces of evil have done a far more efficient job than the decent people. And then, Kathy Rundle will get re-elected -- that's the biggest joke in this community, and the rest of the other vultures will also continue to hold public jobs. A good description of Centorino: tits on a bull!!!!

Good for you Joe! Congratulations. Maybe your hard work and integrity will finally be appreciated by those around you. Keep it up and don't look back. All the best.

Yes, I too wish Joe the best. Rumor has it that Rundle is considering a run for county mayor. Since she has never offended anyone, she just might have a shot. But I also agree with commenters; the ethics job at M-D county is riding a desk outside the hen house.

North Miami's Mayor and City Council are certainly celebrating this news along with the North Dade absentee ballot industry.

Many current and former memebers of the Homestead City Council like his easy way. Unless you hand it (wrongdoing)to him on a silver platter or to update the saying, on HD/3D DVD, he is not going to pursue any elected official. So, more of the same. Hey Robert, dont let the door hit you on your sorry ass on the way out.

I agree with the last anon. The job of the ethics commission is to make sure the trail grows cold.
