County Commission District 7 Debate Tonight. By Geniusofdespair
There is a debate at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club at 6:30 pm between Julio Robaina (TGO) and Xavier Suarez. This is the seat that opened up when Carlos Gimenez resigned to run for Mayor. The address of the club is 2990 South Bayshore Drive. Sponsors of the event are the Urban Environment League and Miami Neighborhoods United.

TGO...The Good One. Now that's good comedy!
I live in Coconut Grove and I am concerned citizen who had not made up her mind in regards to who I was going to support for the district 7 race. After hearing both individuals and receiving a letter of endorsement from Mr. Braman and the Miami Herald via the mail a few weeks ago, I have decided to support Xavier Suarez, I was pleasantly surprised with his plan of action and the way that he articulated the issues that are currently plaguing this community.
Keep up the good work Genius, but on this on we disagree!!!
Don't you find it curious that Braman is backing Suarez, who supports using tax dollars for Dolphin Stadium?
This is the same guy who fought to recall Alvarez for his tax funded baseball stadium.
Am I the only one who remembers that Suarez was tossed out of office for absentee ballot fraud? Dead people voting? Crazy behavior that made international news?
He was branded "Mayor Loco" for a reason.
Under his reign, the city of Miami went broke. He fired like four city managers and tried to sack the police chief within something like four months.
I can't believe anyone would vote for this clown.
