I have this nagging feeling of something going wrong. I have been feeling this way for the past few days. Is it the attack on Derm and Growth Management? Is it Lynda Bell replacing Seijas as the worst County Commissioner? Is it the onslaught of bad bills in the legislature? Is it the thought of Rick Scott for four years? Is it the mediocre meals I have been eating or the bad wine I have been drinking? Is it the thought of spending a holiday with relatives? Is it hearing from a slew of depressed friends with medical problems? Or is it writing bad news everyday for this damn blog?
I can't quite put my finger on it. But I am just off my game, in a funk...but at least it is a good hair day.

Lynda Bell is to the M-D Commission what Harold Ely was to the early 80's Homestead City Council: a self Righteous (pun intended), antagonistic windbag.
Maybe a little damage control, al la Rick Scott, is in order.
Cheer up! We'll probably have Rick Scott for 8 years.
Shake off the toxic stuff. Step away from the computer. We will survive it. I get that way too, sometimes. It's enough to make you cry.
You should have also mentioned $4.00 a gallon gas blues we're all in -----Yes we working dogs and driving on crowded under construction expressways home to work--6 and 7 days a week.
The gas situation hits the hardest-----I need a vacation--probably the back yard in June.....
Riley
Lynda gets her gasoline for free that we taxpayers provide
^^^Her opponent would have received the same free gas she uses today if he'd won.^^^
....and your point is ? Mine was that while we have the 4 dollar a gallon blues, the ang of 13 and hundreds of staff ride for free and remain out of touch with what the taxpayers deal with daily....
I think it's the bad bills thing. I'm sorry that the blues are getting you down. The bad bills when we see the Tallahassee band of fools waste bills on frozen deserts, don't live where they were elected from (crazy), write bills to allow one person to keep their job with a state agency that will probably be privatized because of the incompetence (that the Fiore issue displays and is playing into Scotts's hands), votes that follow the chair because 2 votes were too many for a freshman representative to be able to follow in a day and the list goes on. That's just this week.
But think of it, if you didn't write a blog that brought it all out in the open no body would even know about this stuff or worse, think about it. Used to be we could count on the 3rd Estate to do this (newspapers for those who don't know) but they have been so savaged lately with the economic times and evolving use of media that your importance increases everyday.
Cheer-up, keep on going and we'll see you back on Monday morning. Hopefully feeling better and not too sugared up from the Easter Bunny.
Japan? Impressive.
