The Political Action Committee "1896 PAC" has been recently formed. Its purpose is:
Comprehensive Charter Reform in Miami Dade County.
The PAC intends to do a citizen petition initiative. Great idea, I hope you two (Lawrence Percival and Michale Rosenberg) can collect a lot of money.

OMG, Percival! He is famous for supporting any development in south Dade; the farther west the better. He was a delegate on the Watershed Study, always shilling for more houses and roads, including Krome Gold and the massive proposal on Krome. I can't imagine him doing anything good for the residents. If he is involved, I am suspicious. Who is behind his latest "project".
To the last anon, I agree 100%. I was at the CC hearing for Krome Gold when Percival went on and on supporting it. I wanted to barf when I saw him accepting some type of honor at the BCC not to long ago.
If he's involved, believe me, and the prior anon, whatever Charter Changes he has in mind, are not going to help.
I too am very, very suspicious of this PAC. The devil will be in the details and who is really behind it.
Where do you find out the information regarding the PACs please. Thank you.
Two suggestions - either would work. Create another PAC for the same purpose and out-recruit him OR join him (Machiavellian approach). In fact, to the latter idea, I would say: SWARM HIS PAC with good and intelligent people who care about the county.
Lawrence is not a good guy. He has bad playmates.
Got to think there's a land use attorney pulling the strings for the puppet Percival who never met a proposed development he didn't support. He uses the Kendall Federation as cover for his underground efforts which never back the masses. Dig deeper and you'll find connections to Juan Mayol, Lynda Bell, Jose Luis Castillo, Tim Hyman, etc.
Larry is transparent and yet he gets respect and money
Michael - a PAC is formed to raise money not share ideas. I was wishing you well -- that you raise a lot of money for your cause. If you were just sharing ideas you form a non profit not a PAC. Talk ro a lawyer and you will see you were not being insulted. But hey, don't raise any money if that is what you want...but then why a PAC?
