Natacha Seijas Dropped Her Recall Suit. By Geniusofdespair

I guess the vile one will focus on getting union leader thugs she has in her pocket to strong-arm voters.

Now Miami Voice has to cash the check it wrote: buy advertising, put out mail pieces, and develop a GOTV ground game. Just posting cheap videos on YouTube isn't going to do it.

Watch out for the Union thugs during early voting, busing in voters. She also knows to walk the District and will do so without any oversight of how she'll scare the Senior's that "their" programs will be taken away.

And, because she's on the ballot with Alvarez, you know the PBA are going to out helping both of them.

Unfortunately, she has a lot of "henchmen" and I've seen them in action the last time around with her.

She will not play fair, nor will they.

She'll use our beloved (barf) prosecutor to aid her, once again.

And, of course, she's probably hired the best Absentee Ballot people out there.

Anonymous-> Sounds like you're already to declare Seijas the winner. Maybe the legal suit was a strategy to distract Miami Voice from campaigning and raising money. Maybe it can ride Braman's coat tails.

I used to think EOM was the only place that readers vented about VNS. But read the Herald comments section. I doubt many Herald readers even know about this blog. Still it is good for Seijas to realize-- based on the flood of puking anger against her in the Herald comment section-- that there is a broad base of people who loathe what she has done to MD County.

True, Anon, but how many live in D13 and how many will turn out to vote?

3rd Anon, I am one of those who did this dance a few years ago with VNS. Believe me, I would never underestimate her - ever.

I want her out, badly, and I think the court actions were a smoke screen while they collected absentee ballots.

I truly hope I'm wrong, but probably am not.

Now is the time to get together everyone and help Miami Voice, on the ground, at the polls, in Dist. 13.

Get to the Senior Centers, and the frequent voters in Dist. 13.

It is time for Natacha to take one of her ITC trips abroad. She would do very well in Libya right now. Hell, I'd buy half of her plane ticket myself.

Dear County Commissioners:

Please do not release any Dist. 13 discretionary funds until after March 15, 2011 (if there's still a Commissioner representing the Dist. then).

Anyone know where DeGrandy is? It's like he's behind the scenes somewhere, doing something, and it's never to our benefit!

Forget De Grandy...I would keep an eye out for Jose Luis Castillo his fingerprints will be all over VNS campaign. He’s the mastermind behind Lynda Bell’s campaign win

We'll know tomorrow when we see miami voice's campaign disclosure report. If they haven't raised any money or if they've only raised a few grand, then it's over for the recall. You can't operate a ground game if you can't get the voters to the polls.

He is no master mind. People were waiting till the suit was over to give to Miami Voice. I expect the money to start rolling in now but remember Braman's machine spills over to the Seijas recall. He is getting voters out.

"Rolling in?" Hardly. I've worked on local campaigns since the 1970's. If you have no money at the start of early voting, it's over before it starts. As for "Braman's machine", no media outlets are reporting significant media buys by Braman's PAC. If Miami Voice blows this, VNS will be untouchable for the rest of her term and the first year of the next!

old campaign hand is correctomundo, Pizzi didn't follow thru, the AB MACHINE is hard at work in Hialeah, unless turnout passes 30% (not easy in a March election in MDC) The Fat Lady stays, beleive me I'd hate to see that happen but those are the facts.

Natacha has been caught flat-footed and with her pants down. She has no support and no organization at present. If Natacha supporters are expecting a huge absentee vote for Natacha, they will be sadly disappointed. And EVERY vote to recall Alvarez will be a vote to recall Natacha. Finally, our ship has come in. Natacha is out the door. Thank you Norman Braman!
