The Vote That Put Natacha on The Same Recall Election Date as Mayor Alvarez. By Geniusofdespair

Commissioner Seijas was trying to avoid being placed on the ballot on the same day as Carlos Alvarez - as you can see, it didn't work, 10 Commissioner voted 'yes' for one election for both of them. Lynda Bell and Barbara Jordan supported Seijas.

This video (below) was prior to the vote, VNS was asking the other Commissioners not to schedule her recall election on the same day as Mayor Alvarez's recall election:

wow.

She was the QUEEN of evil in her closing comments.

Watch her eyes as she speaks... wonder if she is going to start dumping the dirty laundry.

Who screams "no" at 0:29?

Harvey Ruven rocks! When this is over, the Clerk deserves a parade for his dutiful efforts. If he hadn't worked his staff around the clock to collapse the time frame, Seijas may have gotten a separate election date. Yea, Harvey!

It's over for the monster! Get out the vote! I like the loud cough after she says shes never been in trouble.

I don't know how she could, by any stretch of the imagination, think it would be in the best interest of the county to have two elections. How do you ask for that? How do you justify it? That is just selfish.

Its not over unti the fat lady threatens????

Now comes the hard part beating her ABSENTEE Ballot Machine in Hialeah, if there's not a large turnout she will still be a pig as opposed to Bacon.

I was there. For some reason, she did not ask for a separate election date. She said she wanted them to wait until next week to put her on the same ballot as the Mayor. Something is up. Either the Mayor has a surprise or she is going to have someone arrested. It was weird.

The mayor is going to walk away and the only vote will be in District-13. She will win with the ABs. Did you see how she turned around and gave her back to Souto when he said justice delayed is justice denied?

Thanks EOM for posting these. A public service in deed. Glad the blog is getting play at the county. The whole delay thing is not necessarily that she has a plan, but that delay cools things down and gives more opportunity for entry at a different level like putting the hammer to individual commissioners. I'd like to hear more about Harvey Ruvin's office speeding this through. If true, the public needs to know.

alvarez is rumored to plan to resign

The person who shouted 'No' was Martinez-- he wanted no clapping.

She has her attorney and a court date early next week. Must be a January surprise for Vanessa.

She is a vindictive individual. Her team of private investigators will dig deep into each individual that collected signatures. Her tactic will be to either arrest, discredit or intimidate anyone who collected signatures.
I will be voting to remove her and that useless chief of staff of hers. Maybe Mr. Murphy can go work for solid waste, that is where he belongs

What happened to conflict of interest? She should not be allowed to speak from the dais or vote on this issue. She did the same thing last time, spreading her message of victim ad nauseum from the dais, while the ones she was crucifying had no recourse.

the Blood is in the water Seijas and the remaining commissioners smell it. Set your sail and drift away. Its time to go, good bye and good luck.
