Florida Election Has Me High...On Anxiety. By Geniusofdespair

Every once in awhile I check in to see how I am feeling. Yep. I have feelings. Today when I did my review I realized that I am high on anxiety. It's the election. It has me jumpy and mean, I could trick an old lady out of her absentee ballot. I watch the polls constantly this close to an election. The polls are not giving me any relief because they have been bad for my team. I tried to read to take my mind off the election. I downloaded A. Michael Froomkin's "Anonymity in the Balance" but was having a hard time focusing, 44 pages. That is a lot to read on screen. I did find one quote I liked while skimming through it:

Anonymity basks in the glow of association with good causes.

Back to the election. I am pretty sure that Alex Sink will pull it off, only because Rick Scott is SOOOO bad. I also just saw Sink's rockin' two minute ad - it will destroy Scott. I predict she will win. In contrast, the Senate race is in the crapper. Crist is picking up endorsements, he just got Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the St. Pete Times. Unless Rubio gets arrested or Bill Clinton strong arms Meek to drop out next week, Rubio will slide in. If Meek was out of the race Crist and Rubio would tie according to Public Policy Polling. Miracles can happen. It makes me crazy to think that I might have to write 'Senator Rubio' someday. Pathetic. On another front, the developers and the chamber of communists are throwing so much money against Amendment 4, I worry about its passage. The only good thing is, they are ignoring Amendments 5 and 6 so I think they will pass. So my days till the election are spent web-surfing for good news, praying for my team and trying to stay medicated.

You bloggers said a lot about yourselves: one has hope the other anxiety. That is what keeps us coming back.

Do we really need another man in the senate with a bad comb-over? Elect Charlie Crist - a man with statesman-like hair. May good hair triumph in Florida!

When Willie Chacon first trie to get money from the State of Florida, Marco Rubio was a Board Member of the South Florida Sports League SFSL during 2005 &2006, and was never Deleted from the SFSL Board of directors like Mr. Antonio Arzola was in 2007...... These SFSL Board Members and City of South Miami Politicians, Mayors, Managers, Recreation Baord, & Activist are the one you should check the facts with during that time........

Medication: That is the key.

even if meek drooped out the ballots are already printed so meeks name would still appear on election day. so, even if he dropped out 100% of the meek vote would not automatically go to Charlie Crist.

and 30% of the state has already voted via absentee ballot.

Many people have the ballot but are holding it watching the polls...

Medication and prayer don't mix. It's either one or the other. Who
do you serve? "Ye can't serve God and mammon" Pray without ceasing
is the best practice.

Burnt offerings anyone?

Clinton convinced Meek that he could win to begin with.

The Senate race is indeed in the crapper. I like the reader comment about Charlie's hair though. Good for a chuckle.

What about the crazy stuff about David Rivera in the paper today?

Why would the dude have a padded resume that touts USAID? What cache did that bring?

And why that organization? That was so easy to check. Usually they create dummy corporations that go bankrupts and can't be traced.

I guess he was counting on the Herald being super lazy (usually a good bet).

There's other funky stuff about funneling campaign funds from his last uncontested campaign into a defunct corporation that just happened to employ his mother. Where's Mazella? Rundle? They aren't even curious?

Definitely a strange twist to the Congressional 25th race.

Nice job yellowing Marco's teeth in the photo...

You're not the only one, Genius. I am sick, thinking that Marco Rubio will become our next junior senator. The people of Florida are a sick bunch, starting by Mr. Norman Braman, one of the heavy hitters supporting this over ambitious and hypocritical money grubber! My God! To think we'll have to stomach Marco Rubio for he next SIX YEARS! What a puke! Obama doesn't know who the hell can he send to endorse Crist, and the imbeciles are not taking notice. Floridians are a bunch of freaks who, utimately, deserve what they will get. Too bad that we have to travel on the same boat!
