Lynda Bell is working hard to become a mini me to the vile one. What does she offer? Nothing innovative about her short and uninspired time in office. She claims to be a conservative candidate yet Homestead's tax rate was nearly 3 times Palmetto Bay's.
If Downrite and Keys Gate Charter School are on there, then I think this means that the Latterner and Rosen money bundle is not far behind, but behind enough not to show up until the end. Uh-oh. What do these guys have in mind ? Probably rather have her as one of thirteen then back in action in Homestead against a very weak slate in the 2011 election. Note to Gene: They have flipped the script on ya, bud.
Rosen dumped $12,500 to the Tom David and Frank May PAC running commercials for Flinn and against Bell. They are using Al Lorenzo and his Quantum Results firm.
Wow, flipped the script! What intrique. Lynda Bell has pulled off the ultimate October Surprise. I bet they are going to hold a wlecoming victory parade for Lynda back in Homestead. We will wait to see what flags will lead the parade.
Rosen and Latterner being financial backers of Bell is nothing new. They and their associates gave over 10 thousand near the end of her 2007 mayor's race against Steve Losner
I wouldn't be surprised of some give to both campaigns to hedge their bets on who's getting in. At least they will try. In the end, I feel very comfortable with Flinn. I have tried to trick him a bunch of times and he just keeps giving the right answers with the right perspective. I think he's real and he's on the right side of most issues.
Rather than come out against Bell, I guess you could say that I am for Gene for a lot of good reasons. I am glad he has to fight this "vile one" you keep talking about. I have checked her out. You are right, by golly. She is scary. I can't imagine what Ms. Bell is thinking.
Thank goodness Gene Flinn is raising money! His previous contribution totals were dismal. If he can be first in votes with last in money in the primary, then he can certainly beat Bell with more money and the endorsements from most of the other candidates, and Katy, and the Herald, and Eye on Miami, of course!

Previous anon, be nervous. Get everyone you know who will vote for him out there. Bell might be out there with buses at nursing homes. After all, she is connected to the Vile One. Let's not stumble at the finish line - let's fly across it. Go, Gene, Go!
