Hear This! CATO "favorite reader this month" is now under my protective custody. By Geniusofdespair

No ranking on CATO allowed this month. I have started a "reader of the month" and Cato is our first winner. It pays not to be anonymous you too could get special treatment.

If "M" ever comes back, he/she will have a shot in the future.

Does that mean I can't call him a socialist for the entire month?

I'm still hanging around. Just laying low, waiting to pounce.

First Anon: You cannot call CATO a socialist -- that is correct, until Sept. 1st. CATO is the only one to make me laugh on this blog and I needed a few laughs since I have been back.

And M, glad to hear from you...you always give me a chuckle or two.

Feels good to have G.O.D. on my side now I feel just like a bible thumping politico
Back off anon lest ye be condemned to the 9th circle of hell where you'll have to watch natacha pole dance naked for eternity

WHAT? Did you say that Cato is the only one who makes you laugh? How about the little number I wrote about Miguel Pussycat and Alex Le Pew, becoming a pair? Well, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore, Genius! And, by the way, the "anonymous" who wrote and signed "M" is an impostor. In fact, I am the one and only REAL "M"...

Wait ... I said
SINCE I HAVE BEEN BACK
your comment was indeed funny...I have been in a funk since coming home and Cato cheered me up. Will the real M please hot button your name!

I think it is wonderful, every body wanting to be me. I never left but I have decided not to write unless I could add something to the discussion.

To quote one of my favorite big screen characters, Leo Getz, I'll say, "Okay, Okay, Okay." Glad you enjoyed my comment, and let's add: Thrilled you're back, Genius. Don't ever let anyone tell you no one is irreplaceable. Poppycock! You are. And as a tribute to your return, I confess that I actually don't know whether I am "M"... but "M" is very much part of my identity [female]. However, for the time being, I must remain "anonymous." It' safer!

What do you mean "it pays not to be anonymous"? Cato is not a name, it's a right-wing libertarian institute in D.C.

Cato, you are, politically speaking, seriously confused. But congratulations on your prize. Just hope it will help ease your bitterness toward public employees and working people in general.

We must have two or three M's. One is a female and then there is the male M with the more liberal wife... and if you count Mensa, it is 3.

And, stop picking on CATO.

(early voting)...Funniest sight so far?
Rick Scott wants to bring the Arizona law to Florida, and he's got some immigrants working for him holding up signs and passing out pamphlets. Oh the irony!

Karl, Talk about confused Cato is a name, I know two Romans by that name, one house sitter of OJ fame, a movie character (The Pink Panther) and my dog whom I channel in order to write here.

Step back Heathen I am basking in G.O.D.s light he went to gotham where he was initially recieved by great fanfare only to be attacked by a crazed chinaman and chastised by an unruly mob in a food line, yet on the fifth day he returned to us in Miami in one piece if that's not a sign that G.O.D. is real nothing is.

G.O.D.does your protection include gimspierre's realm? Just asking.

You forgot my crown of thorns Cato...the beauty pageant crowns that are a real thorn in my side. As far as your realm...you are dubbed king of Natacha Seijas's office -- go claim it.

CATO said...

JEEZ G.O.D. it took you thousands of years to banish the archangel Satan to hell and in just one day I'm being sent to Natasha's office? I'd rather deal with the sulphuric smell of hell than odor of methane in the domain of the vile one.

Too Funny!

OJ's house-sitters name was Kato. I told you how confused you were. No one has named their child Cato since the fall of the Roman Empire.

You don't think Miami has similarities?

OMG hahahahahaha
the best sci-fi movie from when I was a kid :)

I loved that movie!! ...and let's not forget the original Time Machine.

I watched a pre view of the Green Hornet over the weekend and thought of you, Cato!

However, I was not impressed with the casting. I think they could have at least considered Jet Li but he's probably a bit too old!

I guess I'm going to have to go back to my original moniker. Too many "Ms" around.

Moderate

See Karl or is it Carl, I even forgot one from the Green Hornet.

Trivia: What was the Robots name in the movie?

Hint; He might be related to a local commissioner.
