The Miami New Times thinks they have bonded. Franscisco Alvarado says, lobbyist and State Senate hopeful, Miguel Diaz de la Portilla's path to the dark side is complete. He has linked up with the Former Mayor to form a lobbyist dream-team. They ran against each other for Mayor of the County.

Miguel hated Alex Penelas for years, and everyone who has been close to Miguel -- at one time or another --knows this. It goes to show you, Alex in desperate search for "friends"... and Miguel will make an alliance with anyone who futhers his career in the area of lobbying. Any insider might guess who was the conduit to establish this friendship from hell, but I won't say a word about the name of the "procurer."
