Florida's coast line (and the Gulf) has just been expropriated by BP. The beaches belong to BP. The sand belongs to BP. The real estate belongs to BP. If you think all these clean up crews will be doing anything else, six months, a year, two years from now but going over the same areas with rakes: think again.
Last week, a Gulf ship captain reported seeing sea turtles burned alive in an attempt to keep oil off the Gulf coast. BP – the company responsible for the Deepwater Horizon blowout and subsequent Gulf oil disaster – was trying to contain and prevent the oil from reaching coastal beaches and marshes by burning it at sea...horrible.

What about the fish and the crabs and oysters?
We're so f*cked. Kleenex is probably a good investment right now, with all the crying eyes along the gulf.
