These Ethics Complaints land like feathers on a pile of shit, even when people are guilty. The Miami Herald said today:
Rolle allegedly broke county ethics rules when he met with county officials -- including County Manager George Burgess -- and pressed for public funding of a senior center that JESCA planned to run. And:
Under the new complaint filed by the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust, Rolle is charged with four counts of violating the county's ethics ordinance. Fines could reach $1,750. Finally: The Inspector General Michael Murawski said: "You would think he (County Manager Burgess) would say, `Maybe I shouldn't talk with you about this, maybe we shouldn't be having this conversation,' But a lot of these guys don't have enough backbone to stand up to a commissioner."
If you have never heard Commissioner Rolle (he is also on the troubled Public Health Trust Board) speak, here he is discussing whether to repeal the strong mayor amendment to our constitution, that voters approved - very articulate...haha:

It would only be fitting for this man to go the way of Spence-Jones, but I'd settle for him losing reelection. His unethical and potentially criminal behavior notwithstanding, he is a parvenu with limited higher neurological function; certainly insufficient for the position of intricacy and gravitas he currently possesses.
I mean, a real life example of an arriviste!
Isn't the word "Ethics Commission" Floribbean slang for a big friggin waste of time and money. Lots of talk, very few meanigful results out of that office.
And, a poseur!
And, an agent provocateur!
I figured with all that JESCA dough he was a Morton's man.
Fortunately there are good candidates in his race. He will be forced into a runoff. He is vulnerable and will be looking to his "allies" for support. Unfortunately, I don't think some are going to be there for him.
Miami Dade County citizens need to vote in a new commissioner. Get rid of this waste
It looks like the city of North Miami is harboring a shady character in the guise of Mayor Pierra that could define a new era of "ethically challenged" local leaders --- have you heard about Solar Mountain??
He is an expert at getting the vote in his district and many families look to him for help with basic survival. Simply putting your name on the ballot won't get it.
He will win his reelection hands down like they all do he has our money working for him wether you like it or not.
We don't need no friggin ethics commission we need a prosecutor with stones.

You know there's something in this for Rolle! Solar Mountain is another raw deal for North Dade, at the taxpayer expense - selling pipe dreams!
