One-Trick Pony Endorses Another One-Trick Pony. By Geniusofdespair

Rudi Giuliani endorsed Marco Rubio, probably payback for Crist endorsing McCain in the Presidential primary.

What does that mean to me? It means I have an excuse to post another bad photo of the Tea Party Candidate, Marco Rubio. It also gives me an opportunity to remind you to go Republican. I am asking you to switch parties, that's right, do it for Florida! Get the form here. Republicans do this all the time to mess with Democrats. If you are an independent: You shouldn't be an independent, you are part of the reason why we get stuck with bad candidates. The primary is important in setting the election and you don't even get to participate. Why would you let an avid Fox News watcher pick your next U.S. Senator?

(This message is not paid for by the Stop-O-Marco Campaign.)

Mr. Rubio, you have long behaved like a teenager who has borrowed his fathers suit. I think you don’t understand this country. I think you imperil this country.

I think your stupidity is an indictment of the educational system in this country. And I’m sure you feel exactly the same way about me. But what I would never claim about you, is that you do not love this country. I would never even claim that in your own way you have tried to build it. You have the right to criticize anything you want about me or anybody else with whom you disagree politically.

But when you question whether or not I love this country, you have crossed a line. You have inadvertently revealed that you don’t see those with other view points as merely disagreeing with you. You have inadvertently revealed that you dismiss them as not loving this country. This is turn proves that if you’re elected to office, you will not in the slightest be representing nor even defending the people of your state who did not vote for you. And that, perhaps, is the greatest crime against this country of which any politician can be guilty.

I think we should post his lame Tea Party speech. He is the male version of Sarah Palin. His speech had absolutely no heft to it. It was all grand standing.

Marco Rubio’s high-roller political spending

by Michael C. Bender | March 13th, 2010
A Times/Herald analysis of IRS records shows Rubio’s spending “belies his image as an outsider riding a wave of anti-establishment fervor and gunning to knock off Gov. Charlie Crist for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination.” From the story:

• Rubio failed to disclose $34,000 in expenses — including $7,000 he paid himself — for one of the committees in 2003 and 2004, as required by state law.

• One committee paid relatives nearly $14,000 for what was incorrectly described to the IRS as “courier fees” and listed a nonexistent address for one of them. Another committee paid $5,700 to his wife, who was listed as the treasurer, much of it for “gas and meals.”

• He billed more than $51,000 in unidentified “travel expenses” to three different credit cards — nearly one-quarter of the committee’s entire haul. Charges are not required to be itemized, but other lawmakers detailed almost all of their committee expenses.
