Dear Charlie Crist: Republican here. As everyone who reads this blog regularly knows, I became a pub to vote for you in the primary against the wacky Marco Rubio. Extreme situations require extreme measures. If you become an Independent, I might actually vote for you in the election. I think you are a decent enough guy and the best choice after Meek's back-to-back sugar letter and sugar fundraiser. Is this an endorsement? Might be.
Having been a Republican for a few months now, I can honestly say I don't feel differently. Curiously I have been eating a lot of steak and pulling my boots on by the straps, not much else is new.
I don't mind having to change back if you change your mind and ditch the Republican/Tea Party. I hope Florida shows the rest of the country that moderates can prevail because watching you try to get to the right of Rubio is painful.

Again, the entire country will be watching Florida. This election is right up there with Elian and a distant second to the hanging chads. The T Party will be all over this state creating bedlam.
I just changed my voter registration to "no party" because they're all leaving me with that "hanging chad" feeling.
Out of all the Senate candidates, I would support Crist though. I hope he bails out on the Republicans, they're so far out there, it isn't the party I remember when I voted for Reagan!
I can't stomache the Democrat's either. They seem to steam roll over the will of the people with their own was to the left ideology!
The only way Mr. Crist stands a chance is if he runs as an Independant. I'm voting for him either way.
To the people who don't usually send in campaign checks, perhaps you will send in a $6 check with "Go Indie, Charlie" on the reference line. You might want to get that in my APril 30th. That is the cut off date to switch it up. I would think the Tea Party would love this guy. He just did the right thing in spite of his upcoming election. You would think they would respect that. I suspect many do. Isn't Rubio the guy who screwed up the cost differential thing for Dade County.
I will definitly vote for Crist if he becomes an independent
