South Miami Swearing-In of Mayor Stoddard. By Geniusofespair

It was a happy event. The South Miami City Attorney Feingold went off-topic on Philip's middle name and a story about Philip's Grandfather, Louis Kraft (one of the Founders of the USO), so I didn't get a video of the actual swearing-in but, hey, it was my first video so you are going to get to see the speech leading up to the swearing-in whether you like it or not. The story about his Grandfather is pretty good. I am loving this IPhone, I can now post my own videos!

GoD, Sad that your IPhone has better audio/video quality than the City's $250,000, presumably state-of-the-art A/V system in City Chambers. "Gremaf, my friend!" Horace Feliu, January 12, 2010, State of the City Address.

What a lovely story. I wish him all the luck as Mayor.

I'm one of Phil's very proud cousins and also a granddaughter of Lou Kraft. Our family is thrilled and very grateful to see this--thank you, Eye on Miami, and Mr. Feingold! (And congratulations, South Miami!)

Thanks G.o.D.! I learned something new about the Doc!

And for those who do not have an iPhone 3GS but have an iPhone, you can download an app that is a video camera.

Leave it to Larry Feingold to know about this. One of the things that I have always loved about Larry is the incredible amount of knowledge he has about life. South Miami is well served by having such a mensch as their city attorney.
