Lobbyist Marco Rubio. By Geniusofdespair

Marco Rubio's campaign spokesman, Alex Burgos, claims Rubio is not a lobbyist:
"The reason Marco Rubio never spoke about his “lobbying” is because he was never a 'lobbyist,' in the Tallahassee-influence-peddling sense of the word..."

What the hell does that mean? Nonetheless, Tampa Bay.com has the long, amusing campaign statement on his non-lobbying. Rubio is in fact, REGISTERED as a Miami-Dade County lobbyist, here is who he lobbied for at the County:

PAN AMERICAN 4/26/2002
COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO .6

THE MAIN LINE CORP 10/30/2001
CLERK OF THE COURTS-DIGITIZATION

DACRA/DMI/MG JOINT VENTURE 6/8/1998
MCC-5-97 PRESENTATION

AMERICAN SALES & MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION 4/23/1998
BAGGAGE WRAP AT MIA RFP 37

ANGEL & BEATRIZ FERRO 5/19/1997
CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATION

RAUL MEDINA, JR. 4/4/1997
ZONING APPLICATION

LOPEZ LEVI & ASSOCIATES, P.A. 2/11/1997
RFQ 000019

The Rubio campaign trying to deflect says:

In the end, this campaign isn’t about Marco Rubio, it's not about the lobbyists who support Charlie Crist, and it isn't even really about Charlie Crist either. It's about the issues Floridians care about.

It appears Marco Rubio's publicist should do some due diligence before he opens his mouth. Even better, it appears Marco Rubio needs to fire that publicist and get one who does his homework.

Frankly, a deseased mushroom is better than Charlie Crist.

Don't agree, but if we're speaking mushrooms -- would rather have a shiitake like Crist than an amanita or
inocybe fastigiata like Rubio.

What does Marco Rubio do for a living now?

Get used to it. After the ruling of SCOTUS last week, we are in for Rubio's ilk ongoing... at least a few Republicans had some integrity, now, Dem or Repub, we are in for a Corporate America run by a Lobbyist governement.

Worse than a lobbyist he's an attorney (So is Crist) and quite frankly I feel we have too many mouth pieces in government, that's why we have sooooo many laws many of them stifling and unnecesary.
Excesive taxation and an overload of laws is destroying the USA.

Man, was there anyone NOT hired for the baggage wrap contract at the airport? What a waste of money, btw...if we didnt have corrupt baggage handlers, we wouldnt need to wrap it up.

Crist has a nice smile but he sure hasn't done anything to help Floridians recover from the recession.
