No matter what party you favor, this Republican is tops because he says it like it is. Naples News reported in October that Lee County Commission Chairman Ray Judah laid out for a business group precisely when and under what circumstances he would support drilling off Florida beaches in the Gulf of Mexico: "When hell freezes over." Judah on Marco Rubio:
Rubio, he said is a 'puppet" of the Fanjul family, owners of Florida Crystals Sugar. "That's like being associated with Darth Vader." And finally:
Allowing drilling offshore would be risking a sustainable $65 billion tourist economy for an unsustainable one based on fossil fuels, he said, Florida legislators seem blinded to it. "Members of the Legislature are running around like heroine addicts, getting oil injected into their veins by the oil lobbyists up there."
