The December Deluge in South Florida. By Geniusofdespair

Check out the flooding slide show on the Channel 4 website (the photo above is from their slides). They said that "by noon Friday, about 14.2 inches of rain had fallen on North Miami Beach. Some employees of Aventura Mall businesses reportedly spent the night in the mall, unable to get home." For those of you out of town, it started raining yesterday afternoon and continued throughout the day today.

I can't believe that we will not be fishing cars - and drivers :( - out of canals. It is absolutely impossible in some places to tell the edge road in these deep flooded areas -- very dangerous conditions in south Florida.

Oh yeah, Climate Change is a myth. Merry Christmas.

I thought the traffic circles would stop the flooding.

"Climate change?" LOL! That's Al Gore's new Henny Penny cry now that "Global Warming" has been reduced to myth. We have always had these types of storms. Anyone else remember the so-called No Name Storm that occurred here ten years ago?

Speaking of global warming, I do love it that whenever there is a bogus international conference on the subject, it almost always coincides with blizzards and freezing temperatures.
