The good looking guy is also the best candidate. Your prediction is accurate.

By looks it could be either of the bookends? Where are the women of this district?

No the one on the right worked for a Diaz Balart brother...he couldn't be good looking.

He's not. Only #1 is good looking.

Does the same barber cut all their hair? Supercuts?

It's a shame, Rodriguez fonts is a nice guy. Involved in the good of the City

Is he the good looking one...?

lol.....
Guy number 1. is francis suarez, son of Xavier suarez former Miami Mayor. (showed up in underwear to peoples homes)

Denis Rod is number 2. Kinda of an unknown but have been hearing he is a bit of a bully.

Manolo Reyes number 3. Ran against Regalado about 5 times. Bashed him a bunch now wants to follow in his footsteps. He is an accountant or something with the financial sector.

Rodriguez fonts is number 4. He is an attorney and I believe he is either in the Community Relations Board or in the Code Enforcement Board. Nice fellow (as is suarez and manolo)

Suarez has no background with the City. Too young. Either Reyes or Fonts would make an excellent Commissioner. Bothe Reyes and Fonts have history.

Fonts??? The Diaz Balart aid? No thanks.

Anonymous said...

OK.
Vote for Reyes.

Reyes? I don't think he is the good looking one...He is not the predicted winner on this blog by Genius of Despair.

Fonts is former assistant City Attorney, and I have it on good authority is an airhead (forgets everything) - not to mention the Diaz-Balart connection. Reyes is a failed politico who has lived in his mother-in-laws house since he came from Cuba. He is totally useless. Rod? Who? While Suarez has his father's legacy to contend with, he is new blood - something the commission desperately needs. I don't like all the 'keep our taxes down' rhetoric (from each of the candidates), and none of them actually stands out, but I am thinking that Suarez can be molded on a variety of issues - he doesn't have established positions yet. Blank canvas?

Suarez DID NOT show up in his underwear. Don't spread rumors. I liked Suarez, Harvard educated, smart guy.

That was the dad I was speaking about above...

the son: He is the good looking one, can't believe some of you couldn't figure that out. I predict he will win based on his extraordinary good looks.

Francis is way too young, and Manolo has paid his dues. By the way, he was most recently an economist with MDCPS. He has less money, but, better name recognition. As much as you may like him Genius, ur Harvard Graduate is nothing but an albatross hung on his son's neck!

The person who said about Denis Rod being a "bully" does not know who Denis Rod is or what he does for this this community. He/she should stop hiding under anonuymous and give their name or give him the benefit of the doubt and learn about him!

Of all the candidates of District 4 Denis Rod if the only one who was fighting for, and still is, that something be done about the 23 sinking homes in his district, which none of the other candiates knew about. He is indeed the best one to be in the commissioner's seat at City Hall. We need more leaders like Denis Rod who are concerned about the community.

Although I have not met him, I learned that Dr. Denis Rod is the only one who has been on most boards, both in Ciy of Miami and Miami-Dade County that including the difficult one of code enforcement, planning and project A.I.S.P. and it is sad to see a community that ignores the talents of the likes of Dr. Denis Rod in Miami.

"Rod who?" Whoever said that statement must be ignorant. Dr. Denis Rod is on television, radio and newspapers. I suggest for this indivual to study his candidates. and read his advetisments all over town. Hello.., are you alive???

15 years ago we had Carollo, Suarez and Regalado and they got the city in a lot of trouble. Now we have Carollo, Suarez and Regalado...I don't think we have seen the end of our troubles yet!

Now if Willy Gort gets elected we have the same group of people as when the city went bankrupt back in 1996! Are we really that stupid to elect the same people over and over again! When will we learn? Not ever will be my guess!

So we got rid of the old bag Reyes, finally...and now they want to impose Willy Gort? Please give us a break...this is the 21st Century as you know...Let's get new blood once and for all. Are we so limited as to commit the usual blunder over and over again?

I hope that the new generations of the same last names does not bankrupt the City of Miami...it would really be too bad if they did the same thing.

As for learning the lessons from the past - we, the residents of the City of Miami never learn. I assume that the "lesson" has not been strong enough or has not hit home for us to learn it!

I posted a comment several days ago and I still have not see it on the blog. I think it was about one week ago.

I hope that for tomorrow Election day for District 1 & 5 people have learned their lessons and will vote for new blood and not the same people over and over again.

Let's get new leaders in!

About October of last year, Denis Rod said on a TV program I believe La Ley that the problems with the City of Miami would not be solved in 2 years - there are too many and they go too deep. History has proved him right. It is obvious that he had the knowledge and the understanding of what was and STILL IS going on at the City of Miami. We have a very critical situation and no one seems to know what to do. Not the Mayor nor the commissioners Gort and Sarnoff. The 3 were there when the problems started and continue. I'll not mention the 3 new ones, since it is their first time on the commission.

Too bad we did not elect Rod. I believe he would have had some ideas of how to start straightening out this mess!

Well... it seems that the State Attorney's office is not too happy with the present City of Miami Mayor and Police Chief. I believe that this new administration also belives that the end justifies the means. Too bad we elect the same people over and over again.
