If you are going to run for County Commission: Start now! By Geniusofdespair

It is even numbered County Commission districts in 2010, are you running? In the graphic are the people in the running thus far. Only Pepe Diaz is raising big dollars. Evident in his report is our old friend lobbyist/self proclaimed redistricting expert Miguel DeGrandy and various family members. He also has the Farm Bureau, Rock Miners (Cemex), and $3,000 from Shoma Homes' various corporations.

Do you think Pepe will be able to transfer the campaign dollars to a legal defense fund?

Boy, anytime there is slime, there is DeGrandy. The only thing he is an expert at is screwing the environment and keeping dirtbags in office. Bad guy.

I see a lot of people on this blog not happy with the way thinhs are going in this county, and specially not happy at how the Miami-Dade commisioners have been doing or not doing their job.
Well dont blame them blame the voters who keep putting them there, I bet they all get re-elected again.

Pepe, er, i mean, second anon:

If the BCC was not elected by district and thus having the greatest home field advantage of all time, i owuld blame the voers. However, with discretionary dollars, plus all the soft money they get to spread around (bus benches announcing touwn hlls, RV's with their pictures plastered, etc) I blame the system more than i do the commissioners. However, since it is in the commissioners perrogative to change the system, then I ultimately blame them. Blaming the voter is idiotic in this particular instance.
