I will be home soon. Stopped in St. Augustine as I often do and was amazed at the number of stores that were out of business. It seems quiet here. The motels are pretty empty. I even got into the ever popular O'Steen's without a wait. And, I was disappointed -- no booze and lots of fried food. I guess it is a Southern thing -- for example grits, slaw and cottage cheese as side choices at dinner. I am sure a beer would have made the dinner experience better.On another note, I heard the Judge ruled the Sugar deal that the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) wants is legal. Good. Not so good that my vacation is ending. And, yes I am still saddened by Ted's passing.
