Sanchez & Regalado: More on Their Campaign Reports. By Geniusofdespair

A fellow Blogger on Precinct 584 did a bang-up job on the analysis of the campaign finances of Sanchez and Regalado. Take a look, he found Marlin Contributions of almost $10,000 for Sanchez. Not to be outdone Regalado has $7,500 from the Browns (UDB fame, what are they up to?) and $6,000 from Braman according to blogger Stephen Murray. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST OF DONORS, NOR WAS MY JULY 16TH POST.

It appears Joe Sanchez has received a minimum of $27,000 so far from the Marlins and their employees and friends.

Seems low considering Joe Sanchez helped the Marlins get almost $3 bil from the taxpayers. With cost overruns maybe the taxpayers will get hit for more.

The numbers are astonishing. Campaign reform. Or get 'em gone in the next election.

All the contributions to Regalado are from disinterested businesses because Regalado has vowed to stop the influence of special interests. He will clean City Hall.

Look at the reports, Tomas Regalado is a man of the people. Not a single attorney, lobbyist, or developer has contributed to him because they all hate him. Regalado stands up for the common man and it's about time.

Please review the lists of those folks and companies supporting the Mayoral Candidates Joe Sanchez and Tomas Regalado. Each list is most informative and enlightening. All registered voters that are not pleased with the direction that Miami has taken for the past 8 years should care greatly about the differences between the two lists and therefore the differences between the two candidates. You can tell a good deal about a person’s character and personality by the company that they keep. Look at both lists of supporters. Which list would you be proud to be associated with? Which list cares more about our community, its people and its future? Which list do you trust more? Which list is made up of individuals and companies that are more like you? That list will help you select the best candidate for Mayor to lead Miami into a better future and one we can all be proud of.

anonymous 2 above....Regalado got PLENTY of money from attorneys. Don't spread rumors. Read my post from a couple of day ago....

Harry, I don't know that I would consider either a beacon of virtue in the contribution Dept. Miguel DeGrandy and Armando Guitierrez...come on! That is company I could do without.

Like Harry says, look at the reports.

Only GOOD attorneys, lobbyists, and developers (from Tallahassee on down to Broward) gave to Regalado. They are not giving money to curry favor, but only because they are interested in GOOD government for the City.

I am proud to stand with all these GOOD big-time attorneys, lobbyists, and developers, and with Tomas Regalado.

Last Anon:

Define "GOOD" attorneys, lobbyists, and developers.

Brown Development Group, the top contributor to his campaign, are the ones trying to move beyond the UDB line.

Emil Porto, another notorious developer.

Jilk Investments.
Carlisle Development Group.

On top of that Regalado has multiple maximum donations from the same people, a clear violation of Florida elections law.

Get your facts straight.

I am not taking sides in this election. Let's be honest in our presentations

I have looked at the reports I did a blog on them on the 16th. So Miguel De Grandy, Al Cardenas, good attorneys because they gave to Regalado?

So who exactly would you consider NOT GOOD attorneys? This should be good. We have about 25 or 30 posts on DeGrandy.

I like the Carlisle Group, they are infill developers...

Campaign people: sometimes you hurt your candidate more than you help them when you post dopey stuff and lies.

There is a real dumb Regalado supporter posting on this blog that Regalado has no comtributions from attorneys, lobbyists, developers, or special interests, and that Regalado is a man for the people...Yeah right.

Armando Gutierrez is running Regalado's campaign. Remember Gonzalo Sanabria's campaign in Coral Gables.

But has Regalado had any negative campaigns. Nope.
It seems Regalado has more control of his campaign then most political candidates have.

Regalado is the most controlled candidate since Obama. Disciplined, focused, with a message of solutions that will carry him into City Hall. He is the man for the job, no doubt. Best campaign ever.

This last post is too funny.

Regalado's campaign is being run by his daughter who is an attorney and many of the few attorney contributions are from her friends and co-workers. I know I am one of them! I have never donated to a political campaign, but Regalado is not a typical politician and Raquel Regalado is great litigator. Check it out for yourself www.malloylaw.com
