If you're "upside down" and keep paying into the "modified" debt for 3 or 5 years instead of walking away, you may still be worse off than your current situation. All you 5 more yeas payments are good money after bad ones.
We need "debtor strike" by walking way and start fresh.
All circumstantial but he sure does seem like a pretty creepy dude. You've gotta be pretty much a sociopath to kill the cats, mutilate them and then bring them back. I suppose this will be written into a Dexter episode at some point.
