Did Gov. Crist sign SB 360, the Bad Developer Bill, or not? by gimleteye

A tsunami of public opposition swamped Gov. Charlie Crist this morning, as he was headed out to sign several bills into law, including the Bad Developer Bill, SB 360. The governor's phone lines were jammed. Emails and faxes from angry citizens poured in from around the state. Gov. Crist had signaled that he was likely to sign the bill today and it was on his schedule. He apparently skipped the appearance. Did he, or did he not, sign the bill?

I googled it and after chuckling at the top posts quoting EoM, I found this in the Orlando Sentinel quoting Sun Sentinel:

Gov's office goofs, not signing growth bill

TALLAHASSEE - An announcement by Gov. Charlie Crist's office that he would sign a contentious bill to lift some growth management limits was a mistake.

An aide to Crist said the measure (SB 360) was inadvertently included in a media advisory listing bills he would sign Thursday.

Environmentalists and growth management activists have asked Crist to veto the bill, saying it would cause sprawl. Builders and developers want Crist to sign it. They say it'll aid development that'll help revive Florida's economy.

The governor Wednesday said he probably would sign the bill. On Thursday, he said he hasn't yet made a final decision. He said the state's top planning official has told him it's not perfect but better than it could have been.

What else could Pelham say? His agency was nearly guillotined by the legislature. He had to sit there at the state capitol listening to the Idiocracy slamming him from one side of the chamber to the other. SB 360 is crap. The world knows it.

Is there any update on this. I read on Christ's website he has until 6/2 to take action. If he doesn't sign or veto, what happens?
