Now The Miami Herald is Going to Nickel and Dime Us! By Geniusofdespair

The latest stupidity from the Miami Herald: Can you believe the Miami Herald is going to add twenty five cents to your tab every week for the TV Section? Really, it begins in May!

How about this Miami Herald, you pay me twenty five cents to accept the real estate section and we will call it a wash. And, I don't think anyone needs the TV section expanded by 8 pages either. I guess I will buy stock in TV Guide. (Hit on image to enlarge it)

I never use that section anyway. I'm glad they're going to save a few trees that were going to waste. I have Satellite, so the listings are always available without wasting paper.

I would happily pay 25 cents a week to be free of Glenn Garvin.

Ditto, ditto. TV listings should go the way of daily stock price listings... online.

I do not watch TV. So, I did not even know they had a TV section that was separate. Actually, I would rather have one of those tho, rather than playing with the remote control. At least I can read it with coffee and I will not be tossing the remote into the wall because I can not remember how to push the buttons.

it's either stuff like this, or bankruptcy, isn't it?

"I will get it on line"

Readers, 60 to 90 year old people are not always on line. In fact, some ethnic/racial//socioeconomic groups of our population don't own computers at all in this age group. So going online might be easy for you, but many people depend on the newspaper. I would hate to see these people not get a TV section after 40 years of getting one free.

Extortion this is, senior citizens should not be charged extra & neither should any of us!
Shame on the Miami Herald.
