GM Board of Directors Must Go ... by gimleteye

Here is the GM Board of Directors. They should all tender resignations just like Erskine Bowles. GM needs the best and the brightest on a new board independent from cozy relationships with executive management that drove the company into the ground. The Obama administration should clarify this point; that the entire board management of public corporations, when they are bailed out with federal taxpayer funds, must be held to account. They failed. We are paying. They must go.

What business has the government interfering with the private sector? Are we heading towards Socialism?

I completely agree. And it goes for the heads of our financial institutions too!

Somebody has to stop these people. If that's called socialism, then so be it! Obviously Capitalism just isn't working out for the average taxpayer.

And, if socialism is taking care of the people, then so be it. I call it social obligation. When CEO's stop catering to the oil companies and start giving the consumers what they want and need, then they will prove themselves to be responsible enough to get their companies back. They are the ones that have ruined the capitalist ideals, not us.

And to the healthcare industry, the writing's on the wall. We're coming for you next.

If you think you would like Socialism, you should talk to a Brit, who pays over 50% in taxes and can't set a date for an operation; the government will tell him when...maybe years away! Not so great if the ailment is life-threatening.

Say no to Socialsim. The USA is a great Republic and needs to have its people supportive. Germany had a democratic government and gave it all away to Hitler in the 1930s. Don't let that happen to the us.

This is absurd, you know you are being absurb? I guess not. Comment away, it doesn't make it true.
