FP&L: You Had Better Read the New York Times! By Geniusofdespair

No new nuclear or coal plants may ever be needed in the United States, the chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said at a US Energy Association forum April 22nd.

"We may not need any, ever," Jon Wellinghoff told reporters.

Yes, I would agree. But we do need alternatives and instead of the billions in stupid wasteful pork barrel politics that goes on in Washington, why don't they just subsidize solar panels so every house gets free heat from the sun?

Here is a great article on Advantages and disadvantages of alternative energy. In my opinion it is far better to use solar energy if possible and where possible.
