What I have always found interesting is how Walmart was very late to the dance here in South East Florida. There are so many more Target stores and probably even K-Marts.
I live in rural NW Florida. We don't have any Targets and precious few Kmarts/Sears. But we have WallyWorlds on many rural roads. Of course, they drove out the mom and pops so they are the only game in town. I notice, it only took them until 1998 to put one or 2 in the Everglades in south Florida. Way to go WalMart.
The evils of Capitalism, shopping made easier and more affordable, where will it end? Why why why are those stupid ignorant consumers allowed to vote with their wallets when genuises (especially of despair) can show them a better way to lead their lives.

By that metric, it looks like the death of the US economy.

Walmart snookered a lot of people with their "made in America" theme. Now they add to our trade deficit
