Nice to hear GOOD NEWS about journalism here in Miami.

Now if New Times would only get back to the serious business of journalism, and the Miami edition let writers like Alvarado do what they do best.
Smut has taken over New Times, Frank Alvarado is one of the bright spots.
Thank you for the props. And I'd ask your readers to please go back and read some of the stuff by our new writers Gus Garcia-Roberts, Tim Elfrink and Natalie O'Neill. They are are really doing some phenomenal stories about our happy little Banana Republic.
Frank has been doing a great job for some time I'm glad to see he is getting the recognition he deserves
Frank is one in a million. He truthfully tackles the complicated politics of Miami-Dade and tells it like it is. I'll bet sleezy politicians hate to get a call from him. He got the stories on Steve Shiver, Diane O'Quinn, the twit with the love notes on her county computer, developers gone crazy and the ever evil Seijas. Do more Frank, we love your stuff but miss the hard hitting Miami-Dade cesspool articles. Well-deserved.
Can't forget the farm bureau directors vm when she was caught lying. A classic.
