In early 2008, a new wing opened, making Aventura Mall the fifth largest shopping center in the United States. Above is a photo of Aventura Mall taken last night (Thursday) between 7 and 7:30 p.m. This is usually a popular time at this very popular mall. Not looking so good for shop revenues is it? Aventura Mall has a food court with eighteen fast food eateries. Yes I know the photo stinks but it gives you an idea how empty the food court was last night dinner time. This is one corner but the whole court was pretty empty.
