Is Bill McCullum Running for the Senate on Our Tax Dollars? By Geniusofdespair

What is with all those TV commercials, starring Florida Attorney General Bill McCullum, fighting against internet child pornography/on-line child predators? Is this really a big problem or is it one of those issues that give you good press? Who is paying for these stupid commercials? I hope McCullum isn’t using tax dollars to puff up his profile.

Here is what I think, even though he says he isn’t running for the Senate, I think he is trying to work on his name/face recognition with the commercials and might conveniently change his mind later. If Crist doesn’t run, McCullum will have to. On his website it says: “Keeping Florida Safe.” Here is what I say: “Cut out the commercials to save money and stay in Tallahassee, Bill, keep us “safe” by staying away from the Senate race!”

P.S. You too Marco Rubio: Step away from the race, keep us "Safe."

I have seen this commercial over a hundred times. I have also been wondering if we are paying for it. If so, I would have been satisfied with seeing it once.

Duh. And yes, those are taxpayer funded commercials.

So Captain Obvious, have you complained to Crist and others about the use of our tax dollars...Duh, that would seem an obvious thing to do.

Well Genius since you are complaining about McCullum (and rightly so) and discouraging Rubio from running (Can't say I blame you for that either), where are your swipes at Meek (plenty of fodder their) or Gelber ( definetely no saint).

You obviously don't use index or our search...we have commented on the dems as well...however I don't swipe everyone. I especially don't like the Terri Schiavo crew...among them Rubio and McCullum. And I don't like paying my tax dollars for a thinly disguised campaign ad. Crist should put a stop to it.

What about the TV ads by Kendrick Meek? According to him, he single-handedly passed legislation to provide health care to children. Don't criticize McCollum, a Republican, and give a free pass to Meek, a Democrat. What's good for the goose is good for the gander!

Will you stop with Meek already you annoying reader. We have written about Meek. Go to the search we have on our site. This is a post about McCullum. We are not giving Meek a free ride...this is NOT A POST ABOUT HIM. So if you like McCulllum so much - write something good about him instead of insisting we write what YOU want us to write about at any given moment. Don't worry, Meek hasn't a chance, nor does this guy. Crist will win if he comes in.

After hearing Bill McCullum state that he would never support Arizon's new immigration law (which I am sure he has not read) - I will not vote for him in any election!
